Glass Blowing
Experience ID: 186
Take a day to do something fascinating by using the everyday glasses, cups and vases you may take for granted are made. Recognise, appreciate and applaud the mesmerising way in how those objects are created. Watch and learn before you get your turn. Purse those lips, force out that breath and see the glass shape and evolve, stretch and expand before your very eyes. A one time hobby or a introduction to a trade.
Finally the opportunity to make it yourself in a workshop is available to you. Once you have finished the briefing seminar, you may be able to choose the materials where you can start to work on any ideas that you have. You can make the simple basic everyday shapes to start off your lesson, or attempt to create some extravagant, enigmatic pieces. Making the glass twist, expand and contort to your preference is a fun, quirky activity to enjoy while making some friends and comparing models.
